I am in love with a man who loves me so right,
He holds me close in the middle of the night…
He holds my hand when I think I can’t go on…
And talks to me when I can’t get anyone on the phone.
He communicates with me all through-out the day,
And shows compassion when I couldn’t find my way.
He gives me strength and encourages me to be strong,
He rubs my feet when my tiresome days seem long.
He listens to me, when I tell him what I need…
And he goes out his way to protect me and my seed.
He wipes away my tears when I feel down and out…
He shows me what true love should really be about…
He loves me despite the flaws that I have…
And when I’m down, he finds a way to make me laugh.
He gives me chance after chance to prove my love…
And he forgives me of all the things I’m guilty of…
He wants nothing more than to make me smile,
And he provides generously for me and my child.
He teaches me these qualities I should seek from a mate
And gives me the spirit of discernment whenever I date…
Yes, I am in love with a man who’s never left my side…
And for all my sins, he willfully died…
Jesus is indeed the love of my life and my heart…
